Greetings from our Executive Director
Dr. Walker is an expert educator and researcher committed to collaborating with teachers, administrators, district and state leaders across the country to ensure all students receive an equitable education. With a Doctorate Degree in Professional Leadership with an emphasis in Literacy, her research focuses on using culturally responsive pedagogy to influence literacy achievement for middle school Black male students based on her experience as a former 8th Grade English teacher at an all-boys preparatory academy.
Dr. Walker has served as a featured speaker at various educational conferences across the country as a leading expert in the field. Her writings are in nationwide publications such as Literacy Today, USA Today, Wandering Educators, Authority Magazine, and many more.
